These are audio recording of popular stories from the Basic Text of Narcotics Anonymous which was first published in 1983.

Narcotics Anonymous sprang from the Alcoholics Anonymous Program of the late 1940s with NA meetings first emerging in Los Angeles in the early 1950s. And is based on the seminal "twelve-step method" widely used to attempt to treat many addictions, from alcoholism and heroin addiction to marijuana addiction, as well as overeating, sex addiction, gambling addiction, with a strong spiritual and social emphasis.
